Researching your Family History using
the Internet.
By typing 'genealogy' into Yahoos' search engine, I received
21.700.000 pages! That's right, 21.7 million references to genealogy. And
that's just using the 'keyword' genealogy. Obviously I can't list them all
here for you but it gives you an idea of how much information is available
on the Internet. Plus there's more being added on a daily basis.

Having said that, please be aware that much of the
information you find on the Internet, MUST be verified by checking parish
and civil records. This is because much of the information found on the Internet is
submitted by ordinary folks just like you and I! (And of course we all make
mistakes at times).
However the Internet is a marvellous resource for any family
historian. So go ahead and start searching. You never know what you will
find.
